Walk the Line (Cover)
I picked up some new recording gear over the Summer – and then as fate would have it – promptly did not have much time to actually start playing with it.
This is a quick demo to test out my Blue Yeti USB microphone, I literally learned this song a few minutes before recording it and was sight reading the song so it does not have some of the fun guitar bits you would expect from a Johnny Cash cover – please forgive me. I’ll try to do a more proper version somewhere down the road, for this one my main focus was to not leave out any of the words.
This is a one-shot recording, guitar and vocals from the same microphone. Recorded with very basic settings in GarageBand with the final result exported from Logic Pro.
